Student council - adults

Student council is one of the ways you can have your say in how we run the college.

The student council is a group of elected students. Each subject area is represented. A student council co-ordinator and student council support officers help run the council.

What does student council do?

The student council is a formal way for you to have your say in how we run the college.

We encourage student council reps to put forward new ideas for:

  • student life
  • college events
  • college developments

How can I get involved?

We hold elections for student council reps every year. Any student can stand for election if they want to.

If you’re elected as a student council rep, you’ll get support and training from:

  • the student council co-ordinator
  • the student council support officers

Are you interested in speaking up for students at the college? Why not stand for election?
