We want you to succeed.
We want to make sure you’ll enjoy your chosen course and have a good chance of doing well. When we get your application, we’ll ask you to come in and see us for a interview.
The interview will be at the campus you’ve applied to study at.
The interview is a chance for you to chat about your options and goals with one of our tutors. It’s a good chance to find out more about being a student at The Manchester College.
We’ll ask you to take two short tests on a computer to find out your level of English and maths. Depending on which course you apply for, we may also ask you to take an ICT test.
Initial assessment is nothing to worry about. It helps us plan the best support for you.

If we think the course you’ve chosen is right for you, we’ll offer you a conditional place. This means you’ll be able to enrol on your chosen course, as long as you get the grades we’ve asked for.
If the course you’ve applied for isn’t right for you, we may decide not to offer you a place. Don’t worry – we’ll help you find another course at the college that will help you achieve your goals.
