Which course will help me in my career?

Before you apply for a course, think about what you’d like to do in the future. How will the course help you get where you want to be?

Why study?

There are many ways that study can help you with your career. You might study because:

  • you’re interested in a particular career
  • you’re working and want to improve your skills
  • you want to change career
  • you want to go to university

If you want to study because you’re interested in a career, find out which qualifications are useful in that career. The government’s Next Step site gives you information about jobs and the qualifications you might need to do them.

The guidance and welfare team at The Manchester College can help you decide which courses can help you get on in your career.

You can find a course and apply using our course finder. You’ll be able to read a full description of every course we offer.
